I have been a member in the Life Group Shanda leads for a year. Before joining, I was a believer that was simply going through the motions but desiring a more meaningful relationship with Christ. Through my time in the group, I have gained so much. One takeaway has been the impact of spending time building a relationship with God on a daily basis through prayer and reading of the Word. Another major takeaway is that I used to consider my faith to be much more private and individual. Through regular fellowship with others, I have been able to experience the truth that faith was never meant to be done alone, it has always been meant to be a community of believers serving the Lord together. Shanda has such a heart for the Lord and others. She shares her knowledge with conviction and grace. Witnessing her love for the Lord has inspired me to learn more and share with others.
