Season: 9 Episode: 149
Summary:
Every few months it seems like a well-known Christian leaves the Faith. It’s as if there’s a deconstruction movement and those who jump on the trend are applauded for their bravery. Leaving “toxic Christianity” for a more inclusive and passive Jesus sounds appealing and it seems to be catching on. David Wolcott has studied Progressive Christianity and knows more about the deconstruction trend than most. He is on the show to discuss why this is poplular in Christianity, why deconstructing isn’t always a bad thing, and how you can understand and help those who jump on the deconstruction trend.
