Her considerable experience in ministering to Muslim women around the world has given her a unique voice in the world of apologetics as an Islam specialist. She has melded her passion for truth with her heart for women to become a strong voice for leading Muslim women out of darkness and into a renewed hope in Jesus Christ. Her writing can be found at AnAffairWithReason.com, and her new course, Islam Foundations, will be released this May at WomenInApologetics.com. This course equips Christians to effectively challenge Islam and to defend Christianity to Muslims.
Question 1:
Before we get into the meat of today’s episode, can you tell us what led you to study and get involved in the Islamic religion?
Question 2:
The common misconception among Christians when it comes to Islam is that we share the same God. Why is this untrue?
Question 3:
What are some of the most identifiable differences between the Islamic faith compared to Christianity?
Question 4:
One of the things I talked to my husband about in regards to atheism is why do atheists care that I believe in God? If they believe that after they die there’s nothing, what do they care if I believe I go to heaven after I die? But then I read that after the 9/11 attacks, atheists realized just how dangerous believing in God can be to society. They watched in horror as planes flew into buildings and killed thousands. Is that a realistic depiction of all muslims? What are atheists missing when it comes to Christianity and terrorism or any evil?
Question 5:
I once attended a conference where a man said that muslims are so deep into their religion, it is almost impossible for them to get saved. Do you agree or disagree with that assessment?
Question 6:
Can you tell us about the upcoming Islam Foundation course and why the listener should check into it?
