I love teaching people how to think well!
As a homeschool mom, one of my goals has been to teach my daughter HOW to think, not just WHAT to think. When she was in 7th grade, we read a book about logical fallacies and she started to be able to recognize them everywhere. I realized that people who are trained to recognize truth and foolishness are impossible to fool!
I knew I had to start teaching this topic – our world desperately needs people who can think well! The Filter It Through a Brain Cell podcast was born and, to my delight, took off.
As a Christian, I believe there is Truth, we can know that Truth, and it is our honor to search it out. And when parents & teens learn these fun, simple skills of logical thinking, it gets really easy to do!
In each short, fun episode, I teach a new logical fallacy and give simple, relevant examples of how to recognize that thinking error in real life.
